Intuitive Thoughts from Teresa

Spring Blessings!

April showers bring May flowers–but here in Colorado they are snow showers. We have received 36 inches in this last week and it is still snowing!Sunflowers

Last Friday, I went in for my seasonal energy tune up with a local practitioner with whom I have been seeing every season for 4 years. For the first day or so after this treatment, I felt like I got a new windshield.

You know how it feels when you finally relent and get the new windshield. You just sit inside your car marveling at how clear and beautiful the world looks now. Wow, what a difference a new windshield makes!

Before this treatment, I didn’t feel especially dinked up or dirty, however once the clearing was complete, I realized that I had been carrying around some unnecessary energy. In addition, it is always such a gift to work with another healer to guide and assist me with retuning myself. Sort of like a spiritual spa time.

Since that time, several clients have called, requesting a seasonal check in session. I like to call them a Spring-retuning.

For a spring re-tuning, call 303-258-3904.

Living Intuitive Observations

Gratitude

A few weekends ago, I finally saw Slum Dog Millionaire with some friends and with many of my neighbors at our local volunteer movie theater. That night my husband and I volunteered, so I got to sell large popcorn for $3 and connect with my neighbors as they filtered into the theater.

I was surprised to find myself feeling somber after the movie, after all I was expecting a feel good movie. I was not alone, as I turned to check in with my other friends, I saw that my trauma therapist friend was in tears.

Here we all were sitting in this warm comfortable theater, surrounded by our community. Outside, clean mountain air filled the sky. The moon illuminated the snowy peaks of the continental divide, with the help of the brilliant stars. We have so much!

Meanwhile, we knew that although the movie ended well for the characters, that right now there were innumerable numbers of children, families and communities living in the squalor and trauma witnessed in the movie. Thus, the somber mood and tears.

After the movie, as we swept up the theater with the other volunteers, the consensus was immense gratitude and appreciation for our lives. Not only for our everyday creature comforts, but for the amazing community we live in.

I recently hosted two teleclasses on Creating and Cultivating abundance.

Part 1, Part 2, and Bundle (Parts 1 & 2)

In both classes, the topic of gratitude was discussed as a key ingredient in creating abundance—that the 2 go hand in hand.

Gratitude expands from our heart overflowing upward to include our mind and brain. It is a powerful and authentic quality and tool for well being.

When we validate and appreciate what is here now, an entirely different point of attraction, peace and power is created and set into motion .By doing this we   shift our ability to receive. Gratitude attracts—focusing on lack repels.

I believe that a lot of our fear and distortion about there is not enough, happens when we project into the future. In order to receive anything we need to be in present time.

As someone who has been self employed for 16 years- I often have used this reminder to shift my dial when I drift into the fear of the future.

In this moment, I have everything that I need and desire. I am safe.

I have learned time and time again; that when I ground and re focus with gratitude for what is working in the here and now- I have everything that I need in this moment.. And then mysteriously things always work in the future, often in ways  I could or would not have imagined on my own.

That is the Gift of Gratitude.
Living Intuitive Meditation Tool

Enjoy these three different meditation tools

#1 Create a Daily Gratitude.

A pleasure could be asI find that having a ready to reference gratitude list really helps when one is stuck in the despairing inner voices of: there is not enough, nothing is working—you  know when you start channeling Euyore.

Having that written reminder helps one to tap into the memory of gratitude thereby bringing in the feeling aspect of knowing that all is well. Thereby re-tuning your dial.

Slum Dog Millionaire reminded me of the simple “little miracles’ I enjoy in my everyday life, which I often take for granted, such as:

Hot running water
Clean water to drink
Refrigerator
Heat/lights
Computer
Phones
Long distance
Internet service

On a really challenging day, these are great starting places for gratitude. I always include gratitude for the loving friends and family—that includes our dogs—on my list.

I like to review my list before sleeping and upon awakening. It is a wonderful way to re set my mind as I lay in bed. Enjoy creating your gratitude list.

#2 Surround yourself with positive images and vibration

I discovered this great blog on Twitter last week. I love using these pages on my computer home page for a quick reminder and retune. For mini meditation time.

“Releasing Hidden Treasure” by Keith on Mar.30, 2009, under Energy Mandala

We often dream of finding hidden treasure in a field or under a rock. The truth is the treasure is not out there. It is within you. Look no further the X that marks the spot is only a breath away. Use this mandala to unlock the vaults of unimaginable abundance and prosperity.”

#3 Remove negative images and vibration, consider going on a MEDIA DIET.

If it doesn’t make you feel good, don’t look or listen to it. You deserve to keep your vibration at a place of believe and knowing. Prevention is easier than digging yourself out of an energetic dark hole of doom and gloom.

Believe me, if something important happens, you will know about it. At the time of 9/11 I did not have a TV, a friend called me after the first tower was hit, and before the second.

Honoring Your Child’s Spirit: Pre-birth Bonding and Communication

by Flo Aeveia Magdelena

Check out the contributing chapter written by Teresa!

Living Our Potential as Beings of Light

The family system is our first and most intimate experience of the world. It is where we learn about love, sharing, generosity, co-creation, and honoring—or about hate, reaction, fear, anger, and separation. The family may be a spiritual haven and a loving place of growth or a place of absent presence, where we physically live together but do not connect. We either make this connection and create a foundation in our childhood or spend our lives looking for it.

When parents establish a conscious heart/soul connection with their children and with each other, deeper levels of trust and safety are experienced. As we deepen our bonds, we are more sensitive to the subtle, nonverbal communication which we exchange at all times with all living organisms. Relationships are not bound by normal restrictions because the information sent via channels of sensory response are unaffected by language, beliefs, or convention. You are connected beyond earthly rules, and can therefore create a unique relationship that works for your family.
