Where is Teresa?

What a busy few months it has been since the Four Mile fire on September 6th.

Since I last wrote, I have been busy teaching the Introduction to Birth Intuition series and look forward to beginning a new series in 2011. (If this interests you, please email me.)

In addition to enjoying all of the new baby pictures I receive via email, I have also delighted in meeting and holding several of the babies I connected with while they were in utero. What a gift to see and feel the energy I witnessed within these babies Sunnywhile they were in utero now shinning out through their eyes and radiating throughout their bodies.

Also as you can see our puppy Sunny has grown!

As our “Health” Care delivery system continues to disintegrate; many more of my individual consultations have been focused in supporting clients on how to best navigate their healing care options. My approach is to review a clients existing care and to empower them to integrate both additional health care options and their intuition back into their health care decision making.
This includes: the Fertility Management Audits, Pregnancy support ( co-creating your desired birth and VBAC support), and, in addition, non childbearing health issues such as preparing for surgery support. Also popular are the “Do we have the 3rd baby?” consultation.

During this holiday season as we celebrate the return of light and hope, consider gifting someone you care about a one hour session in which they can learn more about:

  • Understanding their life purpose;
  • Developing and trusting their intuition;
  • Gain clarity during a transition.

Enjoy!

Living Intuitive Observations

Chicken Gratitude

Every day as I drive through the burn zone to get to and from Boulder; once again I am flooded with gratitude that we were spared losing our home. I am also continually amazed and educated by the transformative power and capriciousness of this fire. Every day I am deeply aware how deeply this  initiation of fire has impacted myself, my family, and our community.

I consciously use this drive time, devoid of music and other distractions, so that I can be fully present. My focused intentions include, sending healing, love, and appreciation to the land, and all it’s inhabitants with a special call out to the animal, plant and mineral kingdoms. As I drive past a burned home site, I send a blessing to the families, some personally known and some unknown.
Every trip through, I witness something new–a new clearing, a new fence, some fresh blades of grass. I pay homage and honor that this fire has transformed not only our outside physical landscape but also our internal ones.

ChickensMy favorite story to share from the fire is about the chickens. By the way, since the fire, our coop has grown to include a rooster–Mr Pretty Boy, McGill, and 2 new chickens, the “spice girls,” Cinnamon and Clove.

On September 6th when we evacuated our home, we consciously left our chickens. It was not possible to grab them in the 25 minutes we had to leave our home. As I drove away, I sent them a blessing, and to be honest, I didn’t believe I would return to see them alive.

Our town was secured within 24 hours of the fire, however, we were not allowed back for another 12 days. During that time, our firefighters fed and tended to the chickens living in the 4 coops in town.
They had some donated feed, however, they mostly fed the chickens the food they were removing from everyone’s refrigerators, and the leftovers from their meals. In the morning, the firefighters would go around town and gather all the chicken eggs and use them to make their breakfast.

Every time I share this story I hear an ahhh. How, in the midst of such adversity, arose a simple and beautiful example of sustainability and community.

This week I invite you to look for one place in your life where you can cultivate that kind of simplicity, synergy, and flow.

Mercury Retrograde Alert

Per Jyoti Wind:

www.starshine-galaxy.com
“Mercury goes Retrograde (Rx) on Dec.10th and Direct on Dec.29th.

Looking at your assumptions, what you hope/believe to be true vs. what is true will be where this Mercury cycle leads us. Where do we speak with bravado? Can we back it up?
Are we willing to see a larger picture of possibility without having it take us too far a field?

How do we integrate vaster insights with day-to-day responsibilities and goals?Good questions to end the year on…”

Remember, during Mercury Retrograde it is best not to make an big commitment such as signing contracts. It is a time to review not to act. Be aware that communications may get delayed. Water heaters, car repairs, machinery can break down.
